Down with motherhood!

So I have been potty training my dear, sweet Carson for over a month now. He was doing so good, he went days without having an accident, DAYS!! Then he decided that he was done, the novelty has worn off. After cleaning up pee everywhere, I really had enough! So for the last week Carson has been in diapers and pull-ups again. But being the deceitful mother that I am, I came up with another bribe. I pulled out my lap top and told him to pick out whatever bike he wanted (appropriately sized, of course)and YAY! it seems to have worked! I told him when he doesn't wear diapers anymore he can have a bike. This had better work!



Meanwhile, the other angel in my life, Caleb, was supposed to walk home from school today with his friends. After calling and arranging all of it with his friends mom, I told Caleb (before he got out of the car to go to school) to be sure to meet his friends over at the "secret spot"(named for the great pick up place that we have and we don't tell other mom's so it doesn't get too crowded! LOL) So what does he do? He totally ditches his friends he's supposed to walk home with and walks home with someone else. His friends mom calls me just as Caleb is walking in the door and asks if Caleb made it home ok. I said yes and she said that her kids were still at the school waiting for him. OK at this point I want to crawl under the rug and die of embarrassment! So I put Caleb in my car, drove him down to his friends house and made him apologize for ditching them. Seriously, I was so mad!



I know why God had the sense to make our children soooo cute. Because if he didn't, they wouldn't make it past the age of 2! I know I think my kids are halarious and I also think that my friends kids are too. But you know those days that you swear that they are going to have to ship you off to the psych ward? I just had one!
