Speaking of Easter...

The one good thing about afternoon church is that on holidays you can have lots of fun in the morning! We had an easter egg hunt in the morning (yes, I actually woke up early and hid the stupid eggs...I'm not much of a morning person) As I mentioned previously, I have Easter issues. It's not that I don't like Easter. It's that I usually forget. But this year I was prepared! I bought premade baskets. I bought egg dye kits. I stuffed plastic eggs full of candy for the easter egg hunt. I bought the boys new church clothes (Carson didn't last one hour clean!) and even remembered to take pictures. I guess I needed to make up for the lost years! The boys had a great day of eating candy one piece after another. Allan, on the other hand, had a miserable day because he had the stomach flu. I got a migraine during church. So the kids were hopped up on sugar and (even though we were right there) basically had the house to themselves! So now I get to spend the next several days cleaning my house. But, oh well, its a holiday! You don't have to clean on the holidays, right?

Oh Yeah, IT'S EASTER...

Another confession, I'm not very good with Easter, last year I actually forgot all about it! Good thing Todd and Trina got married. We were at my Dad's house and Karen had easter stuff and she was nice enough to share! Has anyone else ever forgotten Easter? Talk about feeling stupid...

So, we dyed easter eggs on Saturday night. I'm the only one who managed to break an egg, I'm talented like that! It was fun, I don't think we have dyed eggs for 3 years or so (see above paragraph for reasons!) We had fun, Carson managed to dye his right hand many different colors. Yeah, party at the Goeser's house!

What's in a name?

I would love for all my friends to try this one, I would love to know the story behind your names!

Allan

He was named after a friend of his parents from Australia. Allan went down under to meet him and ironically, didn't like him! But that's OK because he gives that name alot of credit. A wonderful husband, amazing dad, a person of integrity. Love of my life.

Amy Elizabeth

(Ok I couldn't find another picture of me! Perhaps I need to get out from behind the camera. This one is a self-portrait!LOL)

I was actually supposed to be named Emily. But my mom decided that she liked the name Amy more. Elizabeth is my grandma Tribett's first name. I consider it an honor to be named after her. I am going to be like her when I become a grandma. I want my grandkids to feel as special as I did when I went to stay with her.

Caleb Allan

Caleb was supposed to be named Tyson. We had it picked out for months. Then he was born....and ummm, he doesn't look like a Tyson AT ALL!! So we went back to the name that we both liked for years. We actually talked about how much we liked the name Caleb when we were dating. So we named him Caleb and it fit perfectly. Allan is of course after his dad.

Carson Michael

Carson was just a name that I loved. When I started telling people that we're probably naming him Carson (after the Caleb incident, I knew I couldn't say that was his name for sure, LOL) he just shrugged his shoulders and said 'I guess we're naming him Carson'. I think I was just too mean and pregnant to argue with at that point. Michael is Allan's dad's middle name. I figured after all the girls in this family he needed at least one grandchild named after him. Plus, he's a pretty cool father in law.

So that is what is behind my family's names. What's your story?

Finally Done! WHOO-HOO!

FILLING THE POOL...

STILL FILLING THE POOL...

FINALLY FULL!

AWWW....SO PRETTY!

GOTTA HAVE A JACUZZI...

Just this afternoon we got our pool plastered and filled! YAY! I'm so excited to go swimming! However, we don't get to swim for a couple of weeks because the plaster has to cure (or something like that, LOL) So we will just admire it (from the house of course, our pool cover hasn't been installed!) So now I get to be paranoid mom. I'm already a freak about it! They aren't even allowed to play outside and when I'm out there they aren't even allowed within a 10 foot parameter of the pool. I guess that's how I will be for the rest of my life, a paranoid mom and then a paranoid grandma. Oh well, better to be safe than sorry! Now bring on the sun!

St. Patricks Day

Well, the day is almost over and not a leprechaun in sight! Wait! I just found two of them! OK not really but these two boys cause so much trouble you would think that they actually were leprechauns...

"Green With Envy" Shirt

"I'd Rather Be Lucky Than Good" Shirt (plus notice that his pants are on backwards! Just another fun part of potty training, LOL)

Tonight we had a yummy dinner of corned beef, cabbage and potatoes. A great way to celebrate St. Patty's Day!

WHEWWWW.....

I survived another spring break! It was a very busy week but we managed to survive. Allan started on his shop, I planted our garden and we put in a sand box. ( I would normally take pictures but we have some major wind going on! I'll post some later) I planned Caleb's birthday party, shopped for his presents and filled the treat bags and pinata. Allan and I went to dinner at the latest and greatest Italian restaurant. (I'm not listing the name so I won't pop up in some random search engine.) I feel like we have accomplished a lot but there is still so much more to be done. Our pool is supposed to be filled on Tuesday but the slide and rock is still not finished. I'm getting very annoyed with this rock "artist" because he has been working on our slide since July. Call me crazy but I think that it should be done by now!? I personally would like slap this guy upside his head but I'm letting Allan deal with the tempermental artist. I could go on and on about him but just for your sake, I won't!

To all my great friends who want to come and camp with us: You are always invited! We tend to be very last minute people but your always welcome to come with! We have a trip planned to go to the Delta Sand Dunes but we don't know when because it won't quit snowing! LOL I'm sure that there will be many more this year, I'll keep you updated....

Warner Valley

This weekend we went camping in Warner Valley. It was a BLAST! We took out Caleb, Carson, Kenzi, Kenzi's friend Jeri and Stacha(yay, she didn't have to work!!) We brought our 4 wheelers and our Rhino out and rode all weekend. We also took out Caleb's motorcycle and I don't think that he got off the thing all weekend!

On Saturday, Tia brought out Rylee and her friend Maddie and her son Colten. I took a ton of pictures because I'm not sure if Rylee and Colten have ever been dirty! Oh, to only have one kid again, remember those days? So I handed Ry Ry a shovel and taught her how to use it. In about 2 hours the little ones we COVERED in dirt! It was so cute, I couldn't stop laughing at them. Of course by this point Carson was so covered in dirt that I wasn't sure if he was even going to come clean!

At one point it got really windy so we all headed inside and played games until it calmed down. We all laughed and joked and just had a great time. I don't know if anyone has made as many Hillary Clinton jokes and Stacha and I did! Plus, Stacha actually set a record in the game "Clue" when she solved the murder on her first turn! I hadn't even rolled the dice yet! LOL It was really a great time!

I have a YARD! Whoo-hoo!!

I'm so happy! I love that I can finally send my boys outside and they won't come in covered in dirt and mud. Allan and our guys have worked so hard on our yard and now all their hard work has paid off. I will be planting a garden for the first time in 3 years. I love homegrown veggies and fruit, they just taste better.

It makes me smile to remember the reaction after we got the yard fenced in. We looked at each other and said "what are we going to do with all this yard?!" A funny reaction coming from landscapers. We planned and changed our minds so many times that its a miracle that the yard actually is done. I guess its time to move on to the next project, Allan's shop.
