I have a confession. I've been bitter some things and I have had it!! So here goes:
On New Years Eve morning, my hubby gets to his job site and discovers that some ass**** has stolen everything that wasn't locked up. We're not talking equipment (thank goodness but the insurance would have covered that and then our rates would go up. Rad.) but they stole the battery and the wires to our dump trailer and some small tools. They tried to steal the hydraulic pump but they thought they broke it and left it there. It wasn't broken, fortunately, but why would you take these things? The wires are the thing that irritated me the most. Seriously?! The police officer that showed up said that this is a common occurrence these days and that the thieving bastards take everything to Vegas and pawn it.
I wonder how much they got for the wires....
Last night Allan went and took his concealed weapons class and the discussion that happened there is disturbing. Apparently, there have been multiple break-ins and break-in attempts in our community. And they are doing it at night when people are in the house! That is insane. Especially insane when in Utah you can shoot them in self-defense and with the number of gun owners in this state, you would think that would make these people nervous.
And what is up with this economy?! A bunch of big wig ass**** screw over the American people and what happens? Are they in jail? NO. Have they been fined for making the bad loans? NO. OH YEAH! Every hard working American has to pay for their greed. There is a huge problem with no accountability in this world today. I can't believe how some people can just throw their hands in the air and make it someone else's problem. I guess I should just wait around for my bailout. Oh yeah, we don't get one. AWESOME!
I'm trying really hard to not be bitter but its really hard lately! Every time I turn around, someone I know and love is losing their house, their business, their job, and their security in this world. My heart is breaking for these people who have worked their butts off to have the American dream. These aren't lazy people who are waiting for their welfare check to come in. I guess they didn't know how to screw someone over to make their lives better. Is this really what we are supposed to do now? Screw everyone else, I gotta get what's mine.
My hubby is going to apply for flying jobs because our landscape business has almost come to a complete stand still. The ironic thing is that some contractors are still beating him down in price, even though they were paying the same price for everything last year. But now we are "nickel and dime-ing" them. I guess that we should work for free. It amazes me that people can be so greedy. Fortunately for us, our lawn maintenance company is still going strong. I know a lot of other people out there are not so lucky so I'm counting my blessings there.
Well, I feel better now. Since my blog is my journal of sorts, I felt I needed to record this so that I can remember it some day. Why I would want to remember it, I'm not really sure but I have really felt like I needed to write it down. So I did.

Man, I hear you about the greedy people of this world. I'm so sick and tired of the "no accountability" clause that seems to exist for those that run large, national corporations into the ground.
Has Allan found any flying jobs yet? It's good that your lawn maintenance is still going strong. A lot of people are struggling to just stay afloat right now. Breaks my heart, too.
Good thing he is getting his concealed weapons permit. I got mine last year and carry with me every day. With the way things are you cannot be too safe. There was a story in SLC where a dude was carjacked at gun point and taken to his ATM. Let me tell you that wouldn't have happened with me. The would have been met with 5 rounds of Smith and Wesson .357 mag as fast as I can pull the trigger!! Bastards!! Oh I better calm down I am starting to sound like Amy Goesergal
It is only gonna get worse. Obama and his minions of crooks are going to turn our country in to a 3rd world socialist crap-hole. just wait.
Amy it could be worse. We just went to a funeral today. As you know Bryce is in the financial industry, and it's not doing so well these days. One of his business associates took his own life, because of a lot of stress. I know he wasn't in his right mind when he did this, but it's just so sad to see so many families struggling right now, and you can bet that in a terrible economy there are going to be people doing some really crazy things to try and take care of their families...from stealing to committing suicide. It's all just plain crazy! Look at it this way...you may have put dinner on some family's plate with the money they got from stealing your wires. I know it's a little crazy to think of it like that, but it might make you feel better.
Sounds like you might be ready to leave the country like I am! Let's go!! Could you call me with the phone number to the preschool you use? I need to call. I should have called last week - but as you can see from our blog - we had a lovely flood!

The above is a quote from one of your blogger friends that I have to disagree with. There is absolutely NO way to justify someone stealing. Absolutely none!! We have too damn many theives in this world that too many freaking people want to justify. That is what has caused this major financial breakdown and now we all are paying for the greed and theft of a few individuals. It's bull crap that we justify people when they commit crime or are dishonest. We have to stop doing that and stand up and say we are done with putting up with this S***!! Sorry I am on a rant on YOUR blog but there is no way for you to feel sorry for the theives who stole from you. There are other ways to get food for your freaking family like work for it!! There is no justification for evil doers and I can't wait until they meet their maker. Not just the fellas who stole your stuff but the damn crooks who have stolen the lives of so many other Amnericans who have trusted them. Someone who steals $50 million from others should be shot on the spot. No trial just freaking taken out. That should give others a second thought to not commit these types of crimes. That's the problem we have all accepted that "poor them" b.s.!!!
Okay I will stop. Sorry.
