Wishful thinking...
Caleb turned 8 on Sunday, I can't believe how time flies! He had a HUGE birthday party on Saturday, followed by a few close friends staying to swim. I didn't have a swimming party because Caleb invited 20 friends and I didn't want to be responsible for that many kids in the pool. Allan even heated the pool (can't wait to get that bill!) and we swam for hours. It was so much fun! Of course I was in the pool so I didn't take pictures of the swimming but I do have pictures of his party. Poor kid, he had the flu for 3 days before his party, so in the middle swimming, he went inside and fell asleep! But then about a half an hour later, he came back outside, ready to play again. It was a great day and boy am I glad it's over!

It looks like you all had a blast on his birthday. I LOVE the tug-of-war idea. It's something boys really like. Matthew would've really loved to have been there. He'll be excited and bummed when I show him this blog!
I want to come for a swim!!!!
Love the pictures. I can not get over your yard. I look at these pictures and just drool. mine is still untouched piles of dirt. Sitting just how the dump tricks left them. LOL Poor hubby I never give him time to do anything about it.
