Just another week at the Goeser's household....

Well, what a very interesting week we've had here at the Goeser house! I went out of town last weekend and spent some very needed time away with my cool scrapbook friends. We stayed at my friend Nat's beautiful new house. We had a great time talking, scrapbooking and shopping. We went to Scrapbook USA and for those who don't know what this is, it is a scrapbooker's husband's worst nightmare. There is every imaginable scrapbook product there, usually with the best deal you just can't pass up. So basically I came home with MORE scrapbook stuff that I most likely won't use. (I collect scrapbook products, haha) However, I did get a Cricut which is very cool.

After getting home, life went on as usual. Until Wednesday. We got up, got ready to take Caleb to school. Until Caleb grabbed his side and started screaming about how bad it hurt. So I get him calmed down a bit and look where the pain is. Hmmmm...lower right quadrant pain? Appendix? I waited for a couple of hours to see if the pain would stop but it didn't. So off to the emergency room we went! After making Caleb drink this nasty drink, taking blood, putting in an IV, making him pee in a cup and then getting a cat scan, it is determined that he probably has a pulled muscle. (Can't wait to get that bill) He is doing fine now.

And then the best part of the week...Allan took both of the boys to the Delta sand dunes for a "guy trip" which means that I am at home alone! So, am I using all those awesome scrapbook products that I have spent so much money on? No...I'm doing projects. So far I have cleaned my closet, cleaned the fridge, and cleaned my office. Maybe now that my office is cleaned, I can scrapbook.

Glad Caleb is OK and it wasn't anything serious. Can't wait to see him and the skater dude you have. I love Carson's long curls. Like I told you before, he looks like he should live in Cali.

Hope you enjoy your Cricut as much as I have mine. I love it and have already worn out my 1st mat. Go me for once I am using my toy.

Sorry you had so much stress over a pulled muscle and that it is going to be so expensive but on the bright side I would rather pay that much for my kid to not have surgery than to pay more for them to have to have surgery. Did that even make sense? It means be glad it wasn't worse and I am happy he is feeling better.

NICE, getting cleaning done you need an award. I would need one if I ever cleaned. LOL Did you ever get to scrapbook while they were gone?
