Read this and tell me what you think...
I have had a job and I've stayed at home. I help my husband run our business. I also helped him start it, run it and make it successful. But I'm a stay at home mom now and I really do love it. However, I don't bake cupcakes very often so maybe I'm not a very good SAHM.
I'm also confused. Am I a feminist or not?!
If I didn't have the flu, I could probably talk about this article until the cows come home. But quite frankly, I feel like crap and it's just not in me to talk about all the misconceptions people have about Mormons.
I'm probably one of the most unconventional Mormons I know (ha ha) because my life is not perfect (those perfect people scare me), my house is not spotless(and it never will be), I like to "snuggle" with my husband (my kids will read this someday), I cuss (I tried stopping once, it didn't work), I don't go to church regularly (and I don't believe I will go to hell if I don't), and I try really, really hard to not judge people (because I really don't have enough time in my day to care what other people do).
However, I do have a lot of really GREAT pictures on my blog...
Where does that leave me?! (If you can't tell, this post is dripping with sarcasm.)
Seriously, I want to know your opinion! Good or bad, I'm curious.

I read this too and found it quite interesting. I think I am in the middle. I don't believe I am the "typical Mormon mommy blogger", but sometimes I guess I am!!! I don't think those girls in this article get the response from their mom reading their blogs that I do!!! My mom regularly says, "you didn't... did you?". It's how I am in my core and why change? I'm not sure how I really feel about this article, well, how I fit into it. But I like my blog style and have invited plenty of people to stop following it if it bothers them!!!! Anyhoo, I hope you get feeling better. I will say a prayer for you ;) hehe!!!
Amy, you are the first person I thought of when I read this article. I think you are an amazing, talented person (aka, super crafty!). But, you don't try to rub it in everyone's faces saying "Look how good I am at everything!". I thought it was a great article, and got me thinking how people really do watch us and how important it is to be a good example! Thanks for sharing.
I liked the article too. I think it's interesting and makes you think about what "Mormon Women" are, should be or better yet--think they should be. And as far as the blog obsession, how many times have I caught myself linking to someone's blog from one of my friend's or family's blog, then linking again, etc. I enjoy it. It's interesting. It gives me ideas. Makes me think about all kinds of things. And I don't even know those people. So yeah, I get that. I also have to say, my family blog is mostly good things in our family life, which is why I also have my personal blog to gripe, complain or journal my true feelings. So, where does that leave me? I guess I'm caught in the middle of the Life is Great! and Life Sucks! bloggers. Not your typical Mormon Mommy-perfect life blogger I guess.
Amy, there is no such thing as a "perfect mormon", there are just good fakers that pretend their lives are perfect! I like that you are honest in your blog and don't sugar-coat it, you said it "life uncensored...". At least you admit your life has flaws like EVERYONES does! You are such a great person and never make people feel judged, and to me that is what a mormon should be, so who's to say your not perfect! It's all how you look at it! Keep up the good work! I miss seeing you all!
