7 Random/Weird Facts About ME!

1. Even though my house is nowhere near clean, I'm kind of a germ phobe! I wash my hands constantly, I carry hand sanitizer, and at the grocery store I wipe down the cart before I use it.

2. I like reality shows like Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State, and Most Haunted. I will only watch them during the daytime though because I'm too chicken to watch them at night! But I will not watch a scary movie EVER!

3. I hate to wear make-up and I avoid putting it on whenever I can. Except that I have made a goal to get up and get ready on the days that I'm not cleaning the house. So now I wear make-up almost every day and I hate it! Make sense of that!

4. I hate pickles and fish. However, I love tartar sauce and fish when its battered and deep fried. MMMM...

5. I love to scrapbook and I have a ton of stuff to do it. I have a scrapbook/craft room. The problem? I never scrapbook!

6. I love to watch TV and I record a bunch of shows every day. I love to escape from reality and TV does the trick!

7. I'm a very outgoing person. But I will not speak in front of crowds. I freeze up and my mind just shuts down. Its especially fun when you are asked to pray in church and you can't think of anything to say.

3 Joys

1. Allan and our kids are the biggest source of joy in my life. I love (OK 99% of the time, anyhow!) hanging out with them and just doing all the fun stuff that we do. Its really great to be married to someone who is also your friend. I also love that my boys have a great sense of humor. We laugh and joke a lot, it just makes me happy.

2. I love to shop. I don't care if it is just window shopping, it just makes me feel great! I think its called a 'shopper's high'. It gives me that euphoric feeling whenever I enter any kind of store, even the grocery store. Crazy, I know!

3. Girls trips! I take at least 2-3 girl trips a year. They will always be the best memories of my life (even that crazy Cali trip, Nat! LOL). It is awesome to have women in my life who live all over but we can get together and it seems like just yesterday that we were together. These are the kind of friends in my life that I imagine visiting when I'm old and gray (OK, seriously, I'll never have gray hair! The hairdresser in me won't allow it, LOL) and giggling like we are teenagers again. So to all my friends YOU ARE THE BEST!

3 fears

1. OK, I'll start with the obvious. I don't know how I would go on if I lost Caleb, Carson, or Allan. They are my world and I just don't know if I could live in a world without them.

2. I'm completely afraid of heights. And ironically enough, Allan is a pilot and we own a small airplane (see fear #1) and I have flown a lot. But it scares the crap out of me!

3. I'm totally scared of scorpions and spiders. I check my bed at night to make sure that there isn't anything in my bed. I have found a scorpion in my bed before and it freaks me out. Creepy!

3 obsessions/collections

1. I collect scrapbook paper, embellishments and equipment. I have a whole room filled with products and I hardly ever scrapbook. I intend to scrapbook at least once a week now that Caleb and Carson are in school. I also love to digital scrapbook. It depends on what mood I'm in.

2. I also collect candles. Love them! I don't like those melty things, I actually like to see the flicker of the candle. It is relaxing.

3. I love holidays! I have only lived in this house for 2 years and I have already had to have extra storage added in the garage to store all my decorations. It gives me great happiness to decorate my home for the holidays. Love it!!

3 surprising facts

1. I have moved over 40 times in my life.

2. When I was 19, I had brain surgery to remove a large tumor.

3. After I had Carson, I knew I was done having kids. I have never had another inkling to get pregnant or have another baby. People tell me all the time that I'll regret not having any more but I really don't feel like I will. I feel blessed that I was able to have kids after the brain tumor thing so I'm completely content with the 2 that I have. And no I don't want to try one more time so that I can have a girl. LOL
