We are taking the family on a week long trip in our new trailer to California for Spring Break. Have I started packing? No. How about meal plan? No. Is the trailer ready to go? No. Am I starting to have panic attacks? YES!
Here's why:
We decided to have solar power installed on our trailer and its still not done after 2 weeks. Grrrr. We were originally told it would be done in a week. Yeah, I should have known better than to believe that! So its supposed to be done Sunday. I'm not holding my breath!
However, on the bright side we are having an adventurous vacation. We will be making stops at Calico, the ghost town where they have gun fights and you can pan for gold. Then we are going to spend 2 or 3 days (still undecided) in Disneyland. Then a day at Knotts Berry Farm. Then we are going to the beach, even though it will be cold, you have to go to the ocean when your that close to it. Then a day to just go explore and just do some random stuff. We are way excited to go! Carson wants to meet Goofy. Caleb wants to go on roller coasters. I just want to run away from home. Allan probably won't feel like he's on vacation until we park the trailer, he's not too excited about driving the trailer through California traffic. But he'll do fine, he pulls a trailer every day, after all!
I'm sure when we get home I will need a vacation from my vacation!
